At the end of 2024 I promised to put up a large game at the local wargaming show, known as Crisis. Last year I had a small(ish) world war one game there, using only around 120 miniatures. The game was about the German invasion in august 1914 in Belgium. A small Belgian force had to try to slow down the overwelming German troops. I used a simple set of self constructed rules, but it worked quiet well!
But this year, it had to be a bigger battle, using some of my ancient armies. Rules will be To the Strongest. A few hunderd figures a side will be used.
The historical battle I choose to game was the last battle of Ptolemaios Keraunos, fighting against the invading Galatian army. No more said for now.
Here is a picture of the last miniatures I have to paint for the battle.
The show is on 1 november, so only a few weeks away now.
